Prof. Morris Hartstein Receives Sylvan Adams Nefesh B'Nefesh Bonei Zion Prize for Global Impact


Prof. Morris Hartstein, MD, Founder + Director of Operation Ethiopia has been named as the Sylvan Adams 2022 Nefesh B'Nefesh Bonei Zion Prize winner in the category of Global Impact, for his humanitarian work in Ethiopia.


The Bonei Zion prize is awarded to English-speaking immigrants who have made major contributions to the State of Israel.


Hundreds of olim from English-speaking countries – including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, U.K., and the U.S. - were nominated for the prize which recognizes outstanding Anglo olim who encapsulate the spirit of modern-day Zionism and have contributed in significant ways towards the State of Israel. Recipients were chosen by a prestigious panel of committee members.


There will be an awards ceremony in Jerusalem in late November for the seven recipients of this year's 2022 Bonei Zion prize.
